”Un giorno farò il giro del mondo…”

Con l’Erasmus il giro inizia oggi!

 

Hai mai pensato a come potrebbe essere la tua vita se avessi l’opportunità di studiare in un altro Paese dell’Unione Europea? O a come sarebbe improvvisamente ritrovarsi a vivere in Spagna, in Turchia o in Finlandia? Quale modo migliore per scoprirlo se non vivere un’esperienza di mobilità studentesca?

 

Se non hai mai sentito parlare di Erasmus, ma sei curioso di sapere di cosa si tratta, ci pensiamo noi a farti scoprire questa interessante opportunità che ti cambierà la vita!

 

Anche noi, volontari di ESN Siena GES, aderiamo al progetto Erasmus in Schools di ESN Italia, nato nel 2013 al fine di sensibilizzare gli studenti delle scuole superiori rispetto ai programmi di mobilità studentesca e ai benefici che ne derivano dalla partecipazione. 

 

Come funziona?

 

Periodicamente organizziamo conferenze, presentazioni e momenti di incontro nelle scuole superiori di Siena e provincia per trasmettere alle nuove generazioni i valori della mobilità, della cittadinanza europea, dell’internazionalizzazione e dell’apprendimento interculturale. In questo modo cerchiamo di rendere gli studenti consapevoli dell’importanza di essere cittadini europei e, attraverso il racconto dell’esperienza di chi ha già vissuto un periodo di mobilità, di farli immergere in una realtà culturale differente che permetterà loro di aprire la mente e di vedere il mondo con occhi nuovi. 

 

L’Erasmus in Schools si prefigge di:

• promuovere i benefici derivanti dalla partecipazione ad un progetto di mobilità studentesca;
• prevenire la xenofobia;
• contribuire allo sviluppo di competenze interculturali;
• diffondere l’idea di un tipo di apprendimento innovativo basato sul contatto diretto con realtà diverse;
• rendere i giovani consapevoli della diversità europea come ricchezza da sfruttare.

Sei sei uno studente delle scuole superiori interessato a saperne di più, partecipa al nostro prossimo Erasmus in Schools in una delle tante scuole di Siena e provincia.

”One day I’ll go around the world…”

With the Erasmus the trip around the world starts now!

 

Have you ever thought about how your life could be if you only had the opportunity to study in one of the other European Union countries? Have you ever imagined how your life could change if you suddenly were in Spain, in Turkey or in Finland? What better way to find it out than living a student mobility experience?

 

If you have never heard about Erasmus, but you want to know more, we will make you discover the experience that will change your life!

 

Indeed, also the ESN Siena GES volunteers participate in the Erasmus in Schools project of ESN Italy. This project was born in 2013 with the aim of raising awareness among high school students about student mobility programmes and the related benefits.

 

How it works?

 

We regularly organise conferences, presentations, and meeting moments in high schools of Siena and province to pass on to future generations the values of mobility, European citizenship, internationalization, and intercultural learning. Thus, we try to make students aware of the importance of being European citizens and, through the story of who has already experienced student mobility, to discover a different cultural reality which lets them open their minds and look at the world with new eyes.

 

The Erasmus in Schools aims at:

 

• promoting the benefits deriving from the participation in a student mobility project;
• preventing xenophobia;
• contributing to the development of intercultural skills;
• spreading the idea of an innovative learning method based on direct approach with different realities;
• raising awareness of European diversity among young people by highlighting the related advantages.
